ABOUT US

Jesus Christ is the reason Ballyclare Presbyterian exists. Born into an ordinary home, he lived an extraordinary life, often challenging the poor treatment of people who were despised in society. He taught with authority about God as his loving and merciful Father. He showed us that we are all precious to God and that we should treat each other and creation with love and respect.

By the example of his life and his teaching Jesus brought people to God and offered forgiveness for sins. Religious and political leaders who felt threatened by Jesus plotted to have him killed on a cross; but his death was not the end.

Three days later people met him fully alive. Full of joy these people spent their rest of their lives living and telling the good news of Jesus, as we seek to do today through our Vision statement.
